Millicent and Coreen grew up in Bullfrog Waller. Millicent is now a big-city highbrow. Coreen stayed in the country. She shows up on the night Millicent hopes to take big step up the social ladder. Millicent tries to pass her off as an actress entrenched in her role. But why did she leave after all these years? Deceit and conceit ultimately reveal not just secrets, but what matters most.
Roles Needed
- Coreen: Very Country, filled with plain- spoken humor and heart.
- Millicent: Coreen’s Sister, sophisticated,big-city highbrow who has put her humble beginnings behind her.
- Brian: factory owner, regular sort of guy.
- Patrick: 19, college student, bookish, convinced of his superior intellect.
- Frances: high society woman, very proper and vain.
- Andrew: banker, wealthy but with a small-town background.
- Stephanie: 19, attractive college student, filled with self -assurance.

Denny and the Dreamers, a fledging doo-wop singing group prepare to enter the Big Whopper Radio contest to realize their dreams of making it to the big time. Trouble comes in the form of Lois who arrives to put some polish on the boys. Denny falls in love, Wally falls in line, and Eugene falls apart. Along comes handsome heartthrob Duke to send the whole situation spinning. You’ll be laughing, singing, and cheering—let’s hear it for the boys!
